Speculative Signal public-event claim eligibility
Label an early signal as uncertain before it spreads as fact
Use this category when a meaningful lead is not yet verified but can be attributed, bounded, and framed as an open question for review.
Bring a checkable starting point
- The earliest attributable source available, with its date and context
- Original media or open-source material whose provenance can be evaluated
- A specific explanation of what is unknown and what evidence would resolve it
Handle with care
Unverified does not mean publish anything. Do not dox, identify victims, repeat unsupported accusations, or use AI-generated media as proof.
Supported speculative signal lanes
Choose the closest lane in the proposal form. The label organizes the record; it does not decide the outcome.
- Rumor Watch
- Open Source Lead
- Narrative Drift
- Unverified Media
- Anonymous Source Claim
- Early Witness Report
- Pattern Spike
- Signal Escalation
Frequently asked questions
Does a speculative signal proposal publish immediately?
No. It enters an admin review queue. A reviewer may request changes, and material revisions return to the proposer for approval before the event queue.
Does Claimitt decide that a claim is true or false?
No. Claimitt keeps the assertion, sources, contradictions, and uncertainty visible so the record can change as evidence develops.
Can AI submit or reject my proposal?
No. AI-assisted output is a suggestion that requires confirmation. Risk flags go to human review rather than causing autonomous rejection.
