The whole loop

Claimitt is a public record of unresolved claims. You add proof, and proof moves the record. It comes down to three moves:

Sourcing a fact or catching a conflict is what moves the record.

Key concepts

Reading an event

Each event shows an uncertainty score (how unsettled it is), its drivers (the open questions that must be answered to settle it), and a regime (the phase it's in). Higher uncertainty means more is still in play.

Evidence

A link to proof. The closer to the original record — a filing, ruling, or official data — the more it moves a claim. Opinion and anonymous posts don't count.

Contradictions

Two sources — or two claims — that can't both be true. Spotting one is the core of Claimitt. On any event, the scanner flags candidate disputes you can document in a tap.

Speech Credits & Accuracy

Use credits to post and comment. Trust/Doubt calls are free: no credit is at risk and no cash, transfer, or payout is possible. If the reviewed Accuracy Credits program is enabled, fixed, capped, noncash Accuracy Credits may be earned only after a correctly resolved editorial call under the disclosed policy. Repeated low-integrity behavior can still reduce your speech velocity.

Glossary

Every term you'll meet on Claimitt, in plain language. The same definitions appear as a "?" tooltip wherever the term shows up.

Uncertainty
How unsettled this claim is, on a 0–100 scale. Higher means more is still unresolved and the record is still moving.
Resolution window
Roughly when we expect this to be settled — 48h, 7d, 30d, or 90d. It's an estimate, not a deadline.
Drivers
The specific open questions that have to be answered before this claim can be settled. Add proof to a driver to help close it.
Impact tier
The scale of real-world impact if this resolves, from 1 to 5.
Legacy anchor
A retired launch mechanic for historical records only. New Trust/Doubt calls are free: no credit is at risk and no cash, transfer, or payout is possible. If the reviewed Accuracy Credits program is enabled, fixed, capped, noncash Accuracy Credits may be earned only after a correctly resolved editorial call under the disclosed policy.
CLMIT
Claimitt's in-app speech credits. They power posting and comments, are not real money, and can't be cashed out.
Signal
A short post from the community or our team, scored by how relevant it is to a live claim.
Bounty
An open request for one specific piece of proof. Fill it with acceptable evidence to help settle a driver.
Contradiction
Two sources — or two claims — that can't both be true. Surfacing these is the core of Claimitt. (A source simply updating its position isn't one.)
Entropy
A live measure of how much a claim is still churning. It rises when new, conflicting information lands.
Stability
The flip side of entropy — how settled the record has become as evidence lines up over time.
Regime
The phase a claim is in: conservation (calm), expansion (growing), volatility (swinging), or breakdown (falling apart).
Facet
One angle of a claim. Each facet is scored separately for whether sources clarify it or contradict it.
Evidence
A link to proof — ideally a primary source or named reporting from a trusted outlet. Anonymous posts, rumor, and opinion don't count.
Evidence confidence
How well-supported this claim is right now, 0–100, based on source breadth and evidence quality. Different from uncertainty: it measures the proof behind the claim, not how settled it is.
